Derek Twigg MP Opens New Dining Room and Classrooms at Bankfield School.
Derek Twigg MP opened the new dining room and kitchen facilities at Bankfield School, Widnes on Friday 3 February 2006. Bankfield School was awarded £1.8 million by the Department for Education and Skills to build a dining area, new geography classrooms and specialist art rooms. This money was awarded following lobbying of education ministers by Derek Twigg.
